I really don't know what caused this, Sidney. I took this at the Tourism Center grounds in Malaysia. It can be a natural puddle inadvertently eroding the asphalt and taking the form of a huge footprint. No one notices and pays any special attention to it. I was the only foolish photographer who took a picture of it. :)
