When I look at some flowers like the one in this photo, I see the flower as if it is praying. I see its petals like the arms of a man reaching out into the sky, thanking an Almighty Being for its existence, and giving gratitude also for the blessings of the day. It sometimes stands alone in the darkness, and sometimes I think it even glows like a flickering candle amidst its consuming and contemplative prayer of thanks. Once more, I am in total awe of this magnificent show of power and beauty.
