Ochenta y dos pesos. Iyan ang halaga (batay sa kasalukuyang palitan ng Euro sa Piso) ng isang kakanin sa Espanya na ipinangalan sa atin. Ang litrato sa itaas ay kinunan ko habang na sa loob ng isang sikat na tindahan sa Madrid kamakailan lamang. Sa totoo lang, hindi ko alam kung matutuwa o maiinis ako. Matutuwa ba ako dahil sa lahi natin ito ipinangalan at dapat nating ipagmalaki? Maiinis ba ako dahil ang pinakamatagal na mananakop pa natin ang gumawa nito? Hanggang ngayon, nagugumilahanan pa din ako.


Eighty-two pesos. That's how much (using prevailing exchange rates) a cereal named after Filipinos cost in Spain. I took the photo while inside one of Madrid's well-known stores. Honestly, I do not know how and what to feel about this. Should I feel flattered? Should I feel humiliated? Until now, I am still flabbergasted.


Quatre-vingt-deux pesos. C'est combien une céréale a appelé après des Philippins pour coûter en Espagne. J'ai pris la photo tandis qu'à l'intérieur d'un des magasins bien connus de Madrid. Honnêtement, je ne sais pas comment et ce qui à sentir au sujet de ceci. Au cas où je me sentir flatté ? Au cas où je me sentir humilié ? Jusqu'ici, je suis encore sidéré.
