Isa sa pinakasikat na station ng tren sa Europa ang Gare du Nord ng Paris, sa Pransya. Sa mga aklat at magasin ko lamang ito nababasa noong nag-aaral pa ako. Gaya ng iba, hangang-hanga ako sa laki, arkitektura, at dami ng tao na pinagsisilbihan nito araw-araw. Like all others, I was fascinated by its size, its achitecture, and the fact that it serves millions of travelers yearly. However, when I got the opportunity to visit the station last year, I was stunned initially by an unwelcome discovery. I saw something really awful.
Gare du Nord à Paris, France est l'une des stations de train célèbres en Europe. J'avais l'habitude d'avoir connaissance de cet endroit seulement en livres et magasins de voyage. Comme tous les autres, j'ai été fasciné par sa taille, son achitecture, et le fait qu'il sert des millions de voyageurs annuellement. Cependant, quand j'ai obtenu l'occasion de visiter la station l'année dernière, j'ai été stupéfié au commencement par une découverte fâcheuse. J'ai vu quelque chose vraiment terrible.
