Part of the Holy Week celebrations in the Philippines include the Visita Iglesia, where pious Catholics try to visit as many churches as they can in a day (usually on Maundy Thursday) and contemplate on the 14 stations of the cross, in an attempt to remember the passion that Jesus underwent on his way to Calvary. I took these photograph series at the Sta. Teresita Church in Quezon City, where the stations of the cross are depicted by the church's stained glass windows. It was a blessing that the skies were clear and the sun was shining fully to give life to these artful collection.
