Among the most difficult subjects to photograph are animals and insects. I was lucky enough to take a picture of this common house fly (Musca domestica)in action as it was about to begin its flight. Barely a centimetre long, it is extremely agile and fast to take flight. Notice the graceful spread of its two transparent wings as it begins to defy gravity.

In French: Parmi les sujets les plus difficiles à la photographie sont les animaux et les insectes. J'étais assez chanceux pour prendre une photo de cette mouche domestique commune dans l'action car elle était sur le point de commencer son vol. Notez la diffusion gracieuse de ses deux ailes transparentes comme elle commence à défier la pesanteur.

Oui Emer, on a l'impression qu'elle vient juste de lever son train d'atterrissage, c'est drôle. Ce qui est moins drôle, c'est que les mouches sont une calamité surtout quand on veut faire une sieste tranquille !

Les mouches sont des parasites, Cergie. Ils tracassent non seulement votre sommeil, ils portent également la maladie.

The fly should've escaped me...as you can see, it was supposed to be in the middle of the picture, but its fast nature has already moved it on the right side. I speak only a little French, Eye. I'm not that fluent yet.
