If you read my story on climbing mountains on my other blog, you will know that I dread riding rollercoasters and other thrilling rides on famous theme parks. Risks and dangers are a part of life, it's true, but I also believe that there are risks you can avoid. The photo above falls under my personal category of unavoidable risk. This is taken at the Genting Skyway station at Highlands Hotel in Genting, Malaysia. My heartbeat went faster and faster, and seemed to ignore my mind's assurance that this aerial tram system is one of the strongest and most powerful in the world. The rains that were starting to fall added to my feeling of unavoidable adventure.

I see you are a real photographer !
Even in times of fear you keep on shooting ! You passed the ultimate test.
Now we can cover the war in Iraq together! ;-)

Oh oui !

Ah! Dr. Emer ... my own heart beat picked up when I thought of riding a cable car in that rain ...

I always prefer to have both feet planted squarely on terra firma! ;o)
