Huge red ribbon strips seemingly hanging magically in the air, escalators with mirrored under-bellies, spacious surroundings, shops with designer brand names, unprecedented mall architecture (take it from someone who came from a country rich in mall structures!), this is Festival Walk in Kowloon Tong, TST, in Hong Kong. I thought I was transported into a modern-day opus of the great Maurits Cornelis Escher.
